Training Material

This course is delivered by a live trainer in a virtual classroom. Training material packs will be delivered individually to all delegates before training.

Please note that we do not post training material packs outside of the UK unless required for an extra charge. Training material will be delivered via email as a PDF.

The APM Project Fundamentals Qualification (PFQ) provides a solid introduction to best practice project management principles. We are also passionate about the practical application of best practice, our courses emphasise how you can apply APM best practice in real-world situations, from better planning to team leadership, risk management and stakeholder engagement.

The course takes place over two days, with the 1-hour multiple choice exam taking place at the end of the second day. Don’t worry; we will have you well prepared for it! We run through many practice questions and you will work from our comprehensive training material.

Exam Registration

We’ll do this for you. As an APM Accredited Training Provider, we will register you for the exam two weeks before the exam date. We’ll send you your candidate login details and code on the exam day. Your APM exam fee is included as part of our course cost.

Taking the Exam

We are authorised by the APM to invigilate the exam. You must join a Teams or Zoom call on your mobile device to be monitored whilst undertaking the exam on your laptop. The process works well; we have completed hundreds of exams for many organisations.

What if I can’t attend the public course I booked?

You can cancel anytime up to 28 days before the course and request a full refund. More than 14 days before your course date you can postpone to a future date without charge. Sorry, but no-shows or cancellations within 14 days are not entitled to a refund, as it’s too late for us to fill your space, and you will have been registered for the exam with the APM.
