About this event

The 2026 UK NR/TOC PMO Best Practice Forum brings together project and PMO leaders from across the UK rail industry to share insight, strengthen collaboration, and explore approaches to improving project delivery. Hosted by Great Western Railway, the event focuses on advancing PMO excellence through shared learning, practical discussion, and industry networking.

Emma Arnaz-Pemberton will be speaking as part of the programme, contributing perspectives on the PMO service catalogue and how organisations can better support strategy, delivery, and capability across their change portfolios. The forum will also explore the role of PMOs as the rail sector transitions into public ownership and the value of professional partnerships such as the Association for Project Management.

  • The PMO service catalogue, highlighting activities that support business strategy, project delivery, and organisational capability

Meet Emma Arnaz-Pemberton

Emma Arnaz-Pemberton

Emma–Ruth is the Director of Consulting Services at Wellingtone and a Fellow of the Association for Project Management (APM). She is a Fellow of the Association for Project Management (APM), lead of their PMO Interest Network, a member of the IPMA Standards Committee, an Axelos P3M3 Assessor, and an NLP Master Practitioner practicing life and professional coaching with a Diploma in Modern Applied Psychology.

Emma-Ruth is a PMO, PPM specialist with extensive experience in the change management industry with a particular focus on collaboration, reminding us that we should be human first and change champions second.
