This session will take the form of a structured debate with four invited panellists first giving short presentations, then a debate around a number of pertinent issues. Participants will then be able to network with panellists, and enjoy the festive nature of our last event before Christmas. The presentations will consider:
- Latest recruitment trends and salaries for project management at a time of global economic and financial uncertainty
- Skills requirements for IT project and programme management, and whether they are being met
- Professional skills and competencies and the emerging requirements of professional bodies such as the APM and BCS
- Training and development needs within project management from an employer perspective

Vince Hines, Managing Director, Wellingtone Ltd
Vince is the Managing Director of Wellingtone Project Management – the specialist recruitment, training and consultancy company. Vince has been helping organisations improve the way they manage projects for many years, four of which were spent in New York. He is a PRINCE2 Practitioner, Member of the APM and Member of the ACostE. Vince is currently leading a Wellingtone consulting engagement with a corporate client undertaking a £1.5billion global business change programme. He also works alongside colleagues from Wellingtone Recruitment performing candidate competency assessments for clients such as EDS.
