The UK PPM technology market is set for a shake-up this Autumn, as gold standard Microsoft technology and PPM specialists Projectum and Wellingtone launch a new vendor partnership on the 1st of October. With businesses everywhere facing new strategic, change and transformation challenges, Power PPM offers a game-changing solution to work smarter across the entire enterprise. Now, the solution is available exclusively from Wellingtone in the UK, thanks to the agreement between the two Microsoft heavyweights.
The partnership results from years of collaboration and knowledge transfer between the companies. This delivers a powerful combination of Projectum’s next-gen PPM focused solutions, and Wellingtone’s intimate knowledge of the PPM landscape in the UK, Ireland & Spain, according to Philip Bronzstejn, CEO of Projectum. “Power PPM is designed to span the enterprise, but also to drill deep into the complexities of PPM, drawing extensively on our customers’ lived experiences,” he says. “We are proud to stand on the shoulders of Microsoft. By bringing our own feedback to their table we can offer customers the next logical step beyond Project Online, enabling them to embrace a modern PPM solution that is still fundamentally powered by the Microsoft platform. We are equally delighted to incorporate Wellingtone’s expertise into the mix. There is a cultural synergy between our companies. Wellingtone offers more than twenty years of expertise in the world of PPM consultancy, training, and technology. But we also appreciate their commitment to the wider PPM community, evidenced through their thought leadership, communities of practice, pioneering eLearning Academy, FuturePMO conference and direct support of not-for-profit organisations.”
Wellingtone is excited to pave the way for Power PPM to hit the UK market. “Our mission is to enable our customers to work smarter and achieve their goals, so we want to offer the best possible solutions,” says Baz Khinda, Commercial Director at Wellingtone. “Power PPM is built on the Microsoft Power Platform, so offers a familiar and intuitive user experience, whilst also being incredibly feature-rich. This equips PMOs as well as work-focused teams generally to deliver faster, more meaningful outcomes across their portfolios. That is further enhanced by the data insights enabled via Power Hub, the advanced time tracking capabilities of Time for Teams, and the best-in-class resource planning features within Team Planner. Crucially, Power PPM and the wider solutions can align to any methodology and integrate easily with other systems across the business – such as Azure DevOps, Planner and even third-party apps including Jira, SAP and many more. Power PPM’s capacity to provide a joined-up view across the entire organisational ecosystem is astonishing. I cannot wait to introduce our customers across the UK, Ireland and Spain to this modern, smart and connected next-gen PPM platform.”
Vince Hines, Managing Director of Wellingtone, agrees. “The stars have aligned on this partnership, which we believe will be the start of something very special for our customers,” he says. “Projectum have an incredible knowledge of Microsoft’s capabilities. After all, it takes something very special to win Microsoft Partner of the Year twice, as they have! They have used that knowledge to build what I believe will be a revolutionary tool for our customers. The technology vendor market is extremely saturated. Our aim has always been to cut through the noise and offer, quite simply, the best possible solution for our customers. Power PPM is that solution. To find it with a company that we know, trust, and respect is ideal. It makes for a world-class offering. We also believe we have much to offer Projectum in return – for example by inputting our pioneering e expertise into their global partnership network. As Projectum’s exclusive partners in the UK, we are thrilled to be able to introduce our customers to the next generation of PPM solutions, and we are excited to look ahead to further rollouts as the partnership develops.”
