Success in any deployment of Microsoft Project Online is determined by user experience and buy-in. There is no point having a shiny new Project & Portfolio Management (PPM) tool if users do not understand how to make the best use of the functionality. The user experience is driven by the quality of their training.

Why did we create the eLearning Academy?

Login screen for the Wellingtone Digital Learning AcademyWe know it can be difficult to arrange training dates convenient for all delegates. In the past, and I’m sure in the not too distant future, it has been even more difficult to find and book a meeting room.

Therefore we have invested significantly in developing and launching the Wellingtone eLearning Academy. We have taken considerable time to ensure a great learning experience. Packed with animation, interaction, video, and quizzes it is a significant departure from the traditional “click next, click next, click next, done” low-value online training we have all experienced.

What training courses are included?

Our Microsoft Project Online deployments include training for Administrators and Project Managers. This detailed content is still best delivered as remote live training by one of our experienced PPM Consultants. It is the wider pool of users whose training needs are lighter, including Team Members, Decision Makers and Line Managers, that are the perfect group to embrace eLearning. With the Wellingtone eLearning Academy, these users can now learn at their own pace, when they want, using any device.

Our Project Online for Team Members, Decision Makers and Line Manager courses are highly interactive. They include clickable user interface as if you were interacting with Microsoft Project Online. Our standard courses are great options for any organisation, and we have also designed these courses to be quickly customisable. We can brand the whole experience to align with your organisation and customise the content to reflect your exact Project Online configuration, reports, and ways of working.  Our eLearning course becomes your in-house course.

How can you use the eLearning Academy in your organisation?

If you have your own corporate Learning Management System (LMS), you can host our courses in your environment. Those using the Wellingtone eLearning Academy will receive monthly reporting on training progress, including who has successfully completed their training and achieved their online Accredible certificate.

The Wellingtone eLearning Academy is provided on a 12-month contract basis enabling delegates to return to their courses at any time for a refresher. We know Team Members, Decision Makers and Line Managers may only be occasional uses of Microsoft Project Online so having the safety net of refresher training at any time eliminates any re-training burden for the PMO.
