This 1-day Sponsoring Agile Projects workshop is designed for project and programme sponsors. This practical session provides comprehensive guidance on project sponsorship in a world that is transitioning to Agile.

Following the course delegates will be able to confidently review their current approaches to project sponsorship and make informed decisions on how best to apply Agile practice into their role. This course can be condensed into 1/2-day workshops or shorter executive briefings where required.

Sponsoring Agile Course Details & Agenda

The sponsor is accountable for the successful delivery of the project. Working jointly with the project manager, the sponsor defines the project’s purpose and objectives, clarifies requirements, takes decisions, provides resources (people, funding etc…) garners organisational support and directs the project manager.

The Sponsor also monitors the project context and leads communications with senior key stakeholders. They will always remain accountable for the project outcome.

This course enables Sponsors to understand their role for projects undertaken using Agile principles.
