Following a successful pilot and independent review, Wellingtone is excited to announce that their PMO Leader course has been Accredited by the Association for Project Management; the Chartered Body for the Profession.

The APM Professional Course Accreditation is designed to help learners choose the best course in support of their professional project management career.

A successful application and receipt of a Professional Course Accreditation identifies those courses which are aligned to the APM Body of Knowledge 7th edition, but do not lead to, or cover the syllabus of, formal APM professional qualification.

It also enables APM Accredited Training Providers to deliver these specific courses without having to re-create the content for themselves, assuring consistency in messaging and quality of training delivery on specific topics.

On receipt of the accreditation Emma-Ruth Arnaz-Pemberton, the Director for Consulting Services at Wellingtone said “Receiving this accolade from the APM acknowledges our understanding of, and passion for, the PMO and the needs of people dedicating themselves to it. The Wellingtone PMO Leader course syllabus covers important topics such as resource management, benefits realisation, prioritisation, knowledge management, and PMO leadership; and enables the use of that toolkit through Project Based Learning for two months following the course.

During the two months of targeted activity, the delegates are supported by their Wellingtone mentors to ensure the building blocks are in place for delivering beneficial change.

The course is scheduled to run as part of the Wellingtone PMO Academy through 2019, and supported by a number of optional additional modules tailored for the current PMO industry reality.
