We are proud to announce that the Wellingtone PMO Practitioner course has been independently assessed and has received an IPMA AEIPRO accreditation.
This prestigious registration is reserved for courses that are aligned to the IPMA Individual Competence Baseline (ICB4) which is the international standard on competence for PPM professionals. The course also needs to be approved for use by one or more of the local associations.
Given our recent partnership with AEIPRO; the Spanish IPMA association, as well as the success of their PMO Community spanning Spanish speaking countries both in Europe and Latin and South America, it made sense to be able to offer the course in both languages.
With this in mind, Wellingtone aspired to make the PMO Practitioner course an IPMA registered and accredited solution for PMO people to build their skills like they are doing in the UK. The course is now aligned to the frameworks provided by IPMA, APM, and PMI.
Emma-Ruth Arnaz-Pemberton, our Director of Consulting Services reflected on this most recent achievement.
“We really considered the marketplace outside of the UK and we gained insights from our growing PMO Community. We found that an international accreditation would add enormous value. The recognition of the course by IPMA and AEIPRO (as well as APM) following independent reviews shows how holistic this course is – focused on the realities of PMO rather than driving learners down one single path. We look forward to strengthening our partnership with AEIPRO and IPMA in the future.”
The Wellingtone PMO Practitioner course is the only course dedicated to the PMO accredited by two IPMA Associations. You can access it on the IPMA Registered courses list and the Wellingtone PMO Academy pages on our website.
